“Today, we are so excited to announce the newest addition to our communication channels, the “Voice of Business” Weekly Podcast, sponsored and produced by Chamber member, ALTRES and hosted by Jo McGarry.
The ‘Voice of Business’ Podcast provides a platform for local businesses to share their stories of success, as well as provide valuable insight into the business landscape in Hawaii. Episodes are hosted on the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii’s website, along with various podcast hosting platforms including Spotify and Apple Podcast. Each podcast episode will be between 15-20 minutes in length. Our hope is that the listenership can use this podcast as a way to connect with local business owners and hear their stories behind the balance sheets.
We are honored to have Jo McGarry serve as the host. She comes from a decades long background in media. Jo was the restaurant specialist at Honolulu Star Advertiser and the publisher of Gusto Magazine for ten years, and the former food columnist with MidWeek, with a readership of more than 300,000 loyal food fans weekly. Jo is also the Founder of MoJo. The Business of Food, Hawaii’s only full-service restaurant advisory company.
